Barkers Marquees continue to manufacture marquees and awnings during COVID-19 outbreak. We were pleased to see Business Secretary Alok Sharma’s letter to manufacturing industry (8th April 2020) confirming that there are no restrictions on manufacturing continuing under the current rules.
We are manufacturing Marquee & Awning equipment in accordance with our order book and continue to review our supply chain partners to ensure materials can be supplied for manufacturing purposes.
Our employees are working within our COVID-19 policy which follows current Government guidelines to ensure maximum safety to our staff, partners, clients and the wider community. For example, to reduce unnecessary contact, we are ensuring deliveries and collections are undertaken in the open air whlist maintaining 2m social distancing rules. Workshop staff are currently using face masks and gloves to reduce risk of cross contamination.
